With a record yarding of 7,570 weaners at this year’s Virbac Weaner Challenge at Tamworth Regional Livestock Exchange, it was excellent to watch the Haling Family, a long term Texas Angus client, once again be in the lime light. Their outstanding top pen of 7-9 mths Angus heifers, all by Texas bulls topped the heifers of this year’s Virbac Weaner Sale selling to $1,450, purchased by Wattletop Angus and the other 141 of heifers were quickly snapped up by a Texas Client from Goondiwindi QLD. Their top pen of heifers were awarded this year’s runner up Champion pen.
Also their weaner steers also mentioned by the Judge Peter Baldwin, Australian Livestock Property Agents Association of being highly commended sold to $1,450.
