2026 Angus Round Up was nothing short of amazing – and our first ever!
It was an absolute honour for Wendy to judge 240+ registered Angus cattle, which could well be one of the largest Angus showings Australia has seen in some time. Wendy was superbly assisted by Associate Judge Olivia Baker, whose support and expertise made a huge difference across so many different classes. And of course, the super efficient stewards and marshals made the day tick along seamlessly.
Also not forgetting Sam Parish and Jack Laurie who selflessly donated their time for helping the Youth Committee coordinate this incredible event.
Huge kudos must go to the Angus Youth Australia Committee for orchestrating the largest annual Angus Australia event and charity fundraiser – hosting 290 kids and finishing the week with a fantastic gala dinner of 600 industry representatives. What an achievement and a credit to all the youth involved. The future of the Angus breed is certainly in safe hands.
Not forgetting the generous support of studs that donated ballot animals. Their support is unwaving and no wonder this event continues to grow at an exponential rate!
