After private negotiation with Geoff Birchnell of 3R Livestock, Texas Pride E030 (rising11 year old cow), one of Texas’s top 3 donor cows, was sold for an Australian Angus Mature Female Record price of $60,000. When Geoff approached us about purchasing E30, we had never even contemplated selling such a cow, but with so many daughters coming through the ranks such as Texas Pride L600 (the Dam of Texas NASA N121) who is now a highly valued Texas donor, the decision was made. E30 has left an incredible legacy at Texas with a number of sons topping our bull sales and leaving us a great number of daughters within the herd. She earnt the right many years ago on her ability to consistently produce such high class progeny on top of the pedigree history she possess. Only the most proven high performing quality cows enter the Texas Donor program. No heifer (no matter how pretty her figures are) has ever or will ever become a donor until she had proven her breeding ability.
E30’s bulls have topped at $28,000 three times including Texas Mountain Man N518 (pictured), Texas Mountain Man N23 and Texas Magic Millions M380 (pictured) in the 2018 & 19 bull sales. She has sold 25 bulls plus 20 daughters have been retained in the herd.

2020 will be a year to remember after a record breaking bull sale in July selling all 155 bulls to top at $108,000 and averaging $14,052 and now we are even more humbled to have #R Livestock place such a huge belief in our genetics and breeding program to invest heavily in one of our best stud cows, we wish Geoff and the team all the very best with E30 in their donor program!
